Scott Edwin Harrison, MD, MBA, FAAP is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and later graduated from the University of Denver with a Master of Business Administration, then graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Doctorate of Medicine. He is licensed in Otolaryngology in the State of Mississippi. Dr. Harrison has staff privileges with Mississippi Baptist Medical Center, St. Dominic Hospital, River Oaks Hospital and Mississippi Surgical Center.
Dr. Harrison’s memberships and affiliations include the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, the Mississippi State Medical Association, the Central Medical Society, the Central Pediatric Society, American Rhinologic Society and the Southern Medical Association.
He has been published in the American Journal of Rhinology, the Otolaryngologic Clinics of North America Magazine, Annals of Otology, Rhinology & Laryngology Magazine and Pediatrics in Review. Dr. Harrison has also done research in Interventional Magnetic Resonance Therapy at Brigham and Woman’s Hospital, and in Electroneuronography of the Expanding Facial Nerve at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Dr. Harrison has served in the United States Air Force as an Aerospace Medicine-Flight Surgeon at the 172 Medical Clinic (MDS), 172 Tactical Clinic, Thompson Field, Jackson, Mississippi. He is in the Mississippi National Guard with the rank of Major.
Dr. Harrison was born in Norfolk, Virginia and currently resides in Jackson, Mississippi, with his wife, daughter and two sons.
